Religion of Peace? Part II

I found this article on Fox News' website. I'll reproduce the entire text here because it is short, and I think that it is important. I've added my own emphasis to some of the article's text.

A report posted on Islam Watch, a site run by Muslims who oppose intolerant teachings and hatred for unbelievers, exposes a prominent Islamic cleric and lawyer who support extreme punishment for non-Muslims — including killing and rape.
A question-and-answer session with Imam Abdul Makin in an East London mosque asks why Allah would tell Muslims to kill and rape innocent non-Muslims, including their wives and daughters, according to Islam Watch.
"Because non-Muslims are never innocent, they are guilty of denying Allah and his prophet," the Imam says, according to the report. "If you don't believe me, here is the legal authority, the top Muslim lawyer of Britain."
The lawyer, Anjem Choudary, backs up the Imam's position, saying that all Muslims are innocent.

"You are innocent if you are a Muslim," Choudary tells the BBC. "Then you are innocent in the eyes of God. If you are not a Muslim, then you are guilty of not believing in God."
Choudary said he would not condemn a Muslim for any action.

"As a Muslim, I must support my Muslim brothers and sisters," Choudary said. "I must have hatred to everything that is not Muslim."

Now, these aren't radicals from Iraq, Iran, or Saudi Arabia. These are clerics in London. These people are living and preaching within the confines of Western Civilization. They can get away with making these kinds of statements to Muslim populations within our borders, but Western critics can't even draw a cartoon, or make a documentary. Does anyone even remenber who Theo Van Gogh was or why he was murdered? Perhaps this interview will refresh your memory.

In it Ayaan Hirsi Ali- a female Dutch politician, outspoken critic of Islam, and the person responsible for the film "Submission" (which you more thank likely have not seen, thanks to censorship)- speaks out about the murder and the hypocritical stance of not being able to criticize a religion that has no problem calling Jews and Christians (and all non-Muslims) inferior, inherently guilty, and worthy of rapes, killings, and any other acts solely because of a belief in an alternative faith!

WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!?!

Now, Dutch politician Geert Wilders has come out with a new short film called "Fitna." This film displays verses from the Koran that Islamofacists have used as justification for Jihad on the West over images of 9/11, Madrid, the London Bombings and other attrocities.

Wilders is currently under police protection from the swarm of death threats he has received.

Ironic, isn't it? A man makes a 15 minute film, criticizing Islam as violent; gives examples of verses from the Koran that he says are used to justify violence- and what happens? He is condemned by his OWN PEOPLE as slandering a religion, while the members of the very religion he has criticized send him death threats and force him and his family into protective custody!!!

This is the very definition of irony, and a tragic irony at that. Muslims are often prove the "stereotypes" (if you can even call them that) about them with their reactions to the allegations of the stereotypes themselves!
